You are the d r e a m e r, She pitter-pattered along, gently placing her appendages before her in a precise manner. She was careful to step lightly as she moved along. 'A lady never stomps, Alodia. She glides.' Her mother's shrill voice still rang in her mind. She remembered this lesson clearly. When she was younger, Alodia moved in an "unpleasant" way. Her gaits were awkward. She stepped as if she was 'trying to crack invisible eggshells, rather than take care to not break them' - that was how her mother often phrased it. No longer was that an issue, however. She had corrected that flaw long ago. Yes, now she was a lady. She moved, spoke, ate, slept, and acted like a young femme should. She had worked so long...all those years, just so she could be accepted. Now she could find herself a mate and start a family. Just like her mother and grandmother before her. Yes, life was looking up - and she was so excited to be out on her own. That was why she had journeyed to this strange land. She knew not how the equines here acted. She had not heard of any well-known herd names here, but against her mother's cautioning, she wanted to break free. She wanted to start her own dynasty - while acting as a lady always should, of course. And we are the d r e a m;Her pelt was white-washed, without color, and it gleamed in the soft glow of the morning's early sun. The giant orb's rays of light stretched out across the sky as if the sun was yawning, saying 'good morning' to the world. What a magnificent thing it would be if one were to have the job of the sun, she wondered silently to herself. To rise every morning, bringing joy to the world - setting every evening, fantastically creating an awe-inspiring display of color! Oh, it would be just marvelous. She knew it would be, yet she could only imagine. She was a dreamer and that she always would be. But for now, she had to put that behind her. She had to focus on the present...and presently, she was awaiting claimance by her knight in shining armor - or at least a shining pelt? She cared not how he looked. She was galvanized simply by the thought of being independant from her mother. She just could not wait to have a home of her own...a family of her own...a life of her own! And so now, she waited. I could w r i t e it better than you ever f e l t it.

The black bod of a warrior as he liked to call himself made way through the earth. He turned and gazed around quickly before heading out to find some members of the light race to join him at his relam. He was the light lord in LOR and he sure was proud of it. He moved swiftly but like poetry in motion. His body flowed through the air around him. His mane flew up and waved with the wind around him. He entered the lands of Asseria, where equines go to become members of a band. He needed some and was insearch when he spotted a fae farther off. He turned her way and started walking otwards her. He picked up to a light jog, but slowed down as he approached closer. He was still a bit far off when he slowed to a halt. He stood for a moment, taking her in, gazing her over. A nicker of greeting came from him within before he walked gracefully towards the fae. Kissers curved into a gentle smile and another nicker came from within him as he halted near her. He turned and waited to speak until, he knew it would be okay to. He turned his apex to the side and smiled gently once more, waiting for her.[/sub]

One foot in your b e d r o o m, and one foot out the d o o r;
Soft emerald blades of grass folded and sprung up once more to their original position as another of the equine species approached, crushing the ground coverings that were sprinkled with dew and sparkled so vibrantly in the young sun's adolescent rays. Her attention spanned to he who was gaining on her being. As he neared her muscles tensed and her breathing sped past her normal rate of respiration. She was nervous, for this was her chance to put all of her training to good use...this was the opportunity that would make or break her chance to become what she had dreamed of since she was a young filly. She had watched others obtain it, live it, be it, and now it was her turn. After all: if there isn't a door, kick in a wall. That was what her father had always advised her to do...Make an opportunity for yourself if one is not presented to you. It was odd how her parents contradicted each other so. Her dam was the perfect lady. She acted perfect, she looked perfect, she was perfect. And she had trained Alodia in her image. Her sire on the other hand was a perfect gentlemen, but his ideas were a touch more unorthodox. He believed one should take control of their situation. If you wait around for an opportunity to shove itself into your face, you will be disappointed. He was a "do-er." Yes, he created a family for himself...he set out on his own to form a band of his own, and that was what Alodia aimed to do. She was the perfect balance of the good in each of them, her parents together were a recipe for success in the offspring they were to create, and she was the perfect mixture, the way a recipe was written for a perfect pastry, Alodia had all of the right ingredients. She had everything going for her and she was not about to mess that up.
The moments that followed seemed to move in slow motion. Over and over the lines she was about to form with her vocal cords, those same ones she had rehearsed for so long, played again in her crania like a broken record. She knew exactly what she was going to say, and exactly what manner she was going to say it in. Finally, the stallion had finished his little greeting and it was her time to speak. She felt like a deer caught in the headlights, completely stunned and without and power she stood, suffocated by the silence. Suddenly, something inside of her kicked in, her mouth opened and vocals emitted.
Good morning, sir. I am Alodia...
Completely stunned by the sound of her own lyrics, she stood, motionless still, attempting to curve her labrums in a discretely pleasing grin. Deep inside of her something a feeling of sickness plunged and her heart rate continued to flutter, beating so loudly, so deafening, so just knew the whole world could hear it. She just knew that there were giant red letters on her apex, spelling out the word "FAILURE" - Failure to launch. Although no one other than herself could hear her heart beating so rapidly, and there were really no humiliating words spelled out across her cranium, she felt just as awful. Her performance had been really not so awful...It had just seemed so simple before. All of the pressure had built up and choked her when the time came to shine. But truly, it was no big deal. She had spoken.....she had done her part. sometimes we take c h a n c e s, sometimes we take p i l l s;

His apex turned to face the fae, as harks flicked forward at her vocals. Wildfire noticed her movements within her. After her vocals were released, he had noticed some hesitation, almost nervousness about her. He spoke gently when he finally allowed his kissers to depart,
Good day, Alodia, my name is Wildfire and I am the lord of the lights. He said with a light bow of his apex. His father had always taught him that a warrior always bows to a lady, especially one of beauty.
His thoughts wandered to his great father, Rushing Wind, and his beautiful mother, Calming Ocean. Together they ruled over Wildfire's old terrian. He had left the terrian when his father had given it to Wildfire's brother, Heat.
Wildfire hadn't shown his dissappointment of not recieving the terra. A warrior always acts brave when it comes to things like that. He had left in peace and found LOR where he became as he is now, Light Lord.
He shook his aoex and focused back on reality. He turned to face the fae. He awaited her vocals to be realesed. He wished to know a little more of her, but wanted her to feel comfortable saying it.[/sub]

So h u m h a l l e l u j a h, just off the key of r e a s o n;Orbics watched him intently as he plucked at his vocal cords, poducing vibrations her inner audits translated to words. They swivelled accordingly, turning and flickering to best pick up the sound. The light king eh? Impressive. He would certainly make a nice mate. Or at least a decent king. She was impressed. For now at least. He seemed like a real gentleman. Bowing in her presence, politely speaking to her - He was passing the test so far. Yes, he seemed like the perfect catch. Her mother would be glad to know that she was being courted by a stallion of such a high ranking. Now, all she had to do was keep from screwing up. Follow the rules - remember what you were taught; she repeated to herself silently. She stood, without movement or emotion showing upon her featuers. She was terrified of messing this up. This was her opportunity to be what she had always dreamed of. She couldn't mess that up now. She may never have the opportunity again. She still stood in the same place, her orbics blank and her features frightened. Finally, her labrums curved in a pathetic attempt at a smile and her lashes rose and set gently. Velveteens parted and her lyrics glided out, smooth and melodic, though they still had a nervous ring to them. Well, Wildfire. Tell me of yourself - or should I speak first? Following her sudden vocal emersion, a surprised look found its waty across her features. She had not expect to speak, it just...happened. Suddenly it all came back to her. Yes! Now she remembered! The shock wore off, just like that. Horrified that she had not already done so, her finely shaped cranium dipped in respect, showing her submittance to him. She calmly gazed upon his features now, life returning to her eyes and her wits coming about her.
I thought I l o v e d you, but it's just how you l o o k e d in the light.

He noticed a sudden change, more happiness about her. He sighed softly and smiled pleasently to her. He turned and let his mane blow in the wind around him, the wind he trusted so with all his heart, the wind, that was his friend. Him and th wind had quite a past together. They had trust within, he allowed it to tae him to his destiny, it held the map oif his lfe within it and he trusted it. Harks flicked at her lyrics as she spoke. He nodded and started to speak, telling her of himself and who he was..
Well, as I said before, I am light lord. I live in the light territory of Lumen, beautiful place, anyway, the light lady's name is Annabelle. I come from a terra far away, where my brother, Heat is the ruler./ I grew up there, for my father, Rushing Wind was king, my mother, Calming Ocean, the queen. I had a few sisters and Heat as my siblings, my father gave the terra to Heat when he passed many moons ago. He told her that much of him and nodde foth to her, letting her know, that she could speak anything of herself now.
