Escopetado

Escopetado is a deep, large gash in the earth's surface. Long ago, this crater used to be a volcano, but it has long since been extinct. Rocks jut out from the crater's ash soil, and most of the plants here are withered and dead. The only place of shelter is within the crater's wall itself, where several caves open out into the harsh atmosphere. They are large enough to acomodate several equines each, but the only source of water is a small, pitiful spring in the middle of the gigantic bowl.
