Surprisingly light footsteps fell from heavy hooves as bruja walked peacefully along through the underbrush of the lush forest. Auds flicked back and forth at the different twitterings of the birds, who occupied a large expanse of the tree limbs. She tried not to disturb their songs as she passed by, though it was a tight squeeze sometimes due to her heavy frame. A small chipmunk skittered across her path, but she was not startled; in fact, she welcomed his presence. The small animal stopped to look at her, and the fae looked back with large, dark orbs. The two stood like that for a moment, then both continued on their way; the chipmunk to his home, the feathered equine. . .to where? Annabell gently shook her head to remove her forelock from her eyes. She felt within her breast a longing; something was calling her. Bruja didn't know what; she simply felt that it was important and was not worried in the least.
Without realizing it, the Clydesdale strode into a small clearing inhabited by a pool of the clearest blue. Chest heaved with a sigh as her journey ended. This was where she was supposed to be. Femora instinctively moved to the edge of the water, feeling a presence that she always felt, only here it was magnified a thousandfold. Annabell lowered her great head so her muzzle was almost touching the water.
"Mother, I have answered your call. I await your presence."
